"This hotel was exactly what I had searched for when planning a two day visit to San Francisco, a place away from the intensity of the city and out in a quieter, gentler area where I felt like I could relax with my wife and two kids. I suppose it's just the small town mind-set I have in me. We spent only one night but I would have been happy to spend a week at this hotel. I will stay there again for any subsequent visit to the area...why mess with success?"

The family-owned Inn Marin has a resort-like setting, and is located approximately 45 miles from the San Francisco International Airport and 30 miles from the Oakland International Airport. Every morning, guests can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast. For on-site recreation, there is a pool with adjacent hot tub, as well as a fitness room. Meeting and reception facilities can accommodate up to 100 attendees. The inn also offers laundry facilities, outdoor garden area with barbecue, and parking. Shuttle service is available within a five-mile radius (including nearby shops, restaurants, and Stonetree Golf Course) or to the airport transportation with prior reservations. Sears Point Raceway is seven miles from the hotel, San Rafael is five, and Petaluma is 11 miles away. Within 20 miles are Sonoma Wine Country, Point Reyes National Seashore, Muir Woods National Monument, Six Flags Marine World, and Sausalito. Napa Wine Country and San Francisco are 25 miles from the inn. Each of the 70 rooms has cable television, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, coffeemaker, AM/FM clock radio desk, two phone lines, speakerphone, dataport, and voicemail. Non-smoking rooms and handicapped rooms/facilities are available and canine companions are welcome. Pet fees are applicable.
